Nice series Mike. It conveys a great sense of wilderness in, what I would guess to be, a relatively small area.

@grouser: Not such a small area grouse, the tele-lens compresses the scene, but what you see in the background is Wales from across the River Dee estuary.

A beautiful scene in this wetlands area. The birds look so peaceful and relaxed. No doubt they could all take flight in a moment. Fine shot.
