@JamesC: James I'm afraid it really is tiny :-0 @Luke Wiley: It certainly was a beautiful ship in its day, used as a ferry and as a function boat for parties etc. This one here is a model. Seraphine from San Francisco, United Statesha! it looks like a toy. i love the way you did this michael! 4 Nov 2009 6:12am @Seraphine: :) thanks Stu from Kyoto, JapanPerfectly realized miniaturizing effect Michael! Very effective and totally surreal. 4 Nov 2009 6:40am @Stu: Thanks Stu, this one certainly is a miniature ! Richard Standley from Carquefou, FranceJust looks like a toy. You did a great PP job Mike! 4 Nov 2009 8:22am MadScientist from Düsseldorf, Germany...or taken from your bathtub? Funny picture! 4 Nov 2009 8:39am @MadScientist: The question mark in the title say's it all.... grouser from Ludlow, United KingdomA tilt shift toy? 4 Nov 2009 11:21am @grouser: It was a perfect custom built replica about 80cm in length, playing music and with lights and people. The owner had hand-built it all himself using old photographs to estimate the sizes. It was one of many boats sailing in the marina pool last week on New Brighton's promenade. @LESLIE: Ha ha.... maybe I shouldn't have said anything :-0 Curly from South Shields, United KingdomGive over! It's plastic and you were playing in the bath. 4 Nov 2009 2:50pm hugo poon from hong kong, Hong KongOh Mike, hope you could see the smile on my face!!!! I did first think it's an application of the miniature effect but then... what a lovely pic and funny post! Thanks for the amusement!:-)) 4 Nov 2009 2:55pm @hugo poon: Thanks Hugo, I'm glad that it made you smile... a little boat made even smaller ;) MARIANA from Waterloo, CanadaSuper cool processing , MIke ! A beautiful job with top flight craftsmanship. 4 Nov 2009 4:20pm bluechameleon from Vancouver, CanadaWhat a great shot...at first I thought it might be an ariel shot. So well done! 4 Nov 2009 5:39pm john4jack from Corvallis, Oregon, United StatesLike others have said, it does indeed look like a toy boat being tossed about. 4 Nov 2009 6:50pm Christel from Köln, GermanyGood evening Michael, 4 Nov 2009 8:55pm Steve Rice from Olympia, United StatesHey! That's a toy boat or one of those tricky lens baby images. O.K., it's a fine model I see from above. That makes for one gorgeous shot. I like it !! 5 Nov 2009 2:29am Daryl Johnson from Farnham, United KingdomI like how you made the photo of this model look like a photo of the real thing made to look like a model... 5 Nov 2009 4:19pm @Daryl Johnson: That sounds seriously like Lawyers speak.... to which I answer, it's all done by mirrors ! :-0 |
