Florence from Paris, FranceAt first glance, a very intriguing shot. An original close-up Michael. A tour in your bath-room ? ;-) 26 Apr 2010 8:01am MadScientist from Düsseldorf, GermanyI think this is heavy ordnance, battle-tested in many wars. :-) 26 Apr 2010 9:17am @MadScientist: And even Nuclear proof ! Fonts from Barcelona, SpainA block of gold caught between bricks! This was the first idea to see the image Michael! No matter what it is. A composition is very good with excellent textures! Very interesting shades of color and light of the whole image! Best regards, Adela 26 Apr 2010 11:30am @Glenn: All over... ? :0 Thea from Leeuwarden, NetherlandsOhh..wow..just have óne word for it...fantástic!!! 26 Apr 2010 12:43pm JJ from Jersey City, United StatesWOW this is so cool, wouldnt have guessed what it is, such a cool macro 26 Apr 2010 12:46pm Don from spokane, United StatesA fine close up of a little to never-seen device. Well done. 26 Apr 2010 2:47pm Steve Rice from Olympia, United StatesI would never have figured that out. It looks like some heavy metal. A superb macro. 26 Apr 2010 4:02pm António Pires from Lisbon, PortugalIt's really abstract. Even after your description I can't figure it out. 26 Apr 2010 5:10pm @António Pires: :) I can understand that Antonio, it is a rather close, close-up. These days I use Gillette Mach3 blades, but I found this old Gillette Contour handle, the type that you could snap a swivel blade onto. But I would much sooner tell you that this is an ancient artefact from Mars...! Bettina from United StatesAmazing shot. Looks like gold bars stacked up on each other. 27 Apr 2010 2:08am @Bettina: I wish they was/were ! Evelyne Dubos from Le Mans, FranceInteresting play with textures and shapes. Very intriguing. As Antonio says, even with the description, i can't imagine what part it is... 27 Apr 2010 11:58am SOUL AFLAME from The bosom of Mother Nature, CanadaClever shot with such a neat angle, Michael. I really like your eye for detail, and indeed, the shot. 27 Apr 2010 3:29pm Marilla from Turku, FinlandIt's difficult to see what it is (and I know, because I read your explanation) but who cares - the processing is fantastic! 29 Apr 2010 7:18am @Marilla: Thanks, sorry for the late reply. @Earnest: Ha ha... Limescale :0 Henrik Herskind from Copenhagen, DenmarkSo: Is this 2:1? 24 Jun 2010 8:21am @Henrik Herskind: Thanks Hennik, www.freshpictures.co.uk isn't live at the moment..... but I will mail you when it is :) |
