A block of gold caught between bricks! This was the first idea to see the image Michael! No matter what it is. A composition is very good with excellent textures! Very interesting shades of color and light of the whole image! Best regards, Adela

@António Pires: :) I can understand that Antonio, it is a rather close, close-up. These days I use Gillette Mach3 blades, but I found this old Gillette Contour handle, the type that you could snap a swivel blade onto. But I would much sooner tell you that this is an ancient artefact from Mars...!

Marvellous that you - with the sharp, angled light - manage to get a noticeable amount of DOF into the picture. (No trouble imagining what it is after reding your description - and I'm an electric shaver man.)
