CElliottUK from Reading, United KingdomWell, I do know I like this-a lot, it's really fascinating, and beautiful to look at, but I can't work it out! I've got a very literal mind-not very good at the unobvious. So far I've got 3 "layers", some "stitching" and a guy who might be a photographer, or might not be. I'll check back later today when brighter brains than mine have decoded it! 2 Oct 2010 6:09am @CElliottUK: :)) Chris, I'll let you resolve this one yourself... it really is a simple shot. Christine from Duns, United KingdomI really like the simplicity of this, if it was a water colour I would definitely hang it in our home. I love the composition of the slice of window and the tiles adding some texture and the shadow of the photographer holding up their point and shoot. 2 Oct 2010 6:22am Phil D. Morris from Saskatoon, CanadaThe stitching effect on the left is wonderful in this 2 Oct 2010 7:10am JJ from Jersey City, United StatesSo artistic and creative, I have no idea how you did this but I really like the end result 2 Oct 2010 12:47pm Thea from Leeuwarden, NetherlandsMarvelous work! 2 Oct 2010 1:35pm Othersideblue from Kerman, Iranits you standing in the middle of a sandy seashore trying to capture a good front view taking one of your beautiful seaside pictures ! 2 Oct 2010 3:14pm @Othersideblue: ha ha :) No it's not me.... but it is a sandy seashore. Don from Spokane, United StatesA fine composition and one that is provocative. It requires some looking and thinking. Very good! 2 Oct 2010 4:30pm Julie Brown from Indianapolis, United StatesThis is very creative. I must look at it some more. 2 Oct 2010 7:26pm CElliottUK from Reading, United KingdomMy brain obviously works better at night than in the morning. I've now got it. The left is a house gable with window, there's a guy on a beech, and it's been given a watercolour treatment. 2 Oct 2010 10:13pm @CElliottUK: Yesss..! There are no layers or stitching Chris. The shot was taken from quite some distance and high up looking between some houses. I cropped the image tightly which pulled the beach in. If you could see the bigger picture it would become clear. Becky from los angeles, United StatesGreat shot - and a big thank you to Chris for figuring it out! I needed the help as well - it's a really neat shot though! Love the tiny body shadow - and pov. 2 Oct 2010 11:16pm @Sidney: Thanks Sidney. I couldn't access your webpage....? hugo poon from hong kong, Hong KongWhat a unique and compelling atmosphere!!! I'm captivated and intrigued! Original and remarkable work Mike! 3 Oct 2010 3:55am Japanalia from Yokohama, JapanInteresting crop, good choice of post-processing and a weird result that rises so many questions...BUT, an unique idea! 3 Oct 2010 4:30am Evelyne Dubos from Le Mans, FranceLike the composition and the watercolr effect in sepia tones who suits very well to the subject. 3 Oct 2010 1:16pm |
