Another beauty! Look how beautifully they're all dressed - everyone took such pains to always look their best, to appear so genteel. When did we lose that respect for self and others. What a beautiful history lesson.
Wow, Mike, what beautiful work of art and valuable piece of history!!! I must say I really admire the grace and elegance of these people! Thanks so much for sharing!:-)
Its really tragic it seems how they look to be so happy, just enjoying the
simple things, it is not that nice how people have become after only a
hundred years or so.
The days when female flesh was treated with dignity and covered. Horse drawn wooden huts taken down onto the waters edge so that the ladies stepped into the water without parading about in bathing costumes... an elegance and grandness that is all but gone from modern day ladettes and louts. I'm showing my age aren't I.....
A fabulous frame. So interesting to study the minutia of detail in the daily life back then.
I think this is my favorite so far....again, beautiful color, this wonderful feeling of hustle bustle but not in the way we think of it today. This is a day for enjoying, for seeing people, for tasting the air, for laughter and enjoyment.
