I took this image with my Nikon FM + bellows more than 30 years ago. Although expensive, I always used Kodak ektachrome and these slides have remained good throughout the years. They are are now digitized onto my pc.

My book entitled, Looe in Cornwall a photographic tour, is on sale now.

I had to look at this in HUGE size, just to remind myself of the softer grains in that emulsion, it has scanned really well. I always found Ektachrome to give rather cool temperatures for my liking, I preferred very slow Kodachrome.

@Curly: Quite true Curly, Blues especially showed up well in Ektachrome. But 25 ASA Kodachrome was the finest :) The apple was shot with tungsten light giving it a rather warm colour.

An excellent image that looks as good today as 30 years ago it seems. I liked Kodachrome back in the day but, I shot Ektachrome, too.

@Steven: Thanks, once I saw a few marks (mould) I decided to get them preserved.
