My book entitled, Looe in Cornwall a photographic tour, is on sale now.
@Luke Wiley: Yes there are Luke, but this is a great place to sit. There is a bandstand where they play Jazz, and you an outlook over the river.
That's quite a gang of 'over-fifties.'
Nicely seen in B&W; especially like the busy perspective combined with the spare foreground.

yes but what exactly are they all looking at? Nice one Mike

@grouser: They are probably looking at the seagulls flying around the pleasure boats that cruise up the river.
I think that would be my favourite place too, even if I'm too young for this... ;-)

@MadScientist: Maybe if you bought a walking stick...... :-0
Do we ? Definitely funny. I envy them sometimes. They stop running. ;-)

@Florence: LOL... :)
People love to sit and watch other people. This looks like a fine place to do just that. Fine black and white quality with a good scale of tones. Well done.

@Don: Thanks for that Don, it's probably my favourite place.

This is other-worldly to me. I suppose that if I lived in the city I might relax in a place like this but it is just not me... I wonder if I'll ever reach the stage where I'm content to sit and watch? (I think I'm already supposed to be there but I can't stand sitting in one spot like this.)

So much life in this shot. Well composed and great contrast. I like this very much.

A beautiful shot. It seems to be getting cooler but people are still enjoying the outdoors. Lovely B&W.

Marvelous monochrome. Let me tell you, retirement is very good!!

Good evening Michael,
The title is fitting for this wonderful recording. The view reminds me slightly of the old city in Cologne on the Rhine promenade. Dear greetings Christel

A wonderful study, Michael. It strikes me as a great 'people watching' area with all participants and no subjects.

Such civility, in America such a scene would be full of miscreants. best...jerry

Splendid shot Mike! Everyone's waiting and watching yet no subjects (like Stephen said)... being rich in time seems to be an enjoyable thing! Interesting street scene!:-)

Interesting reactions you have got to this one . . it does not strike me as odd other than in the strange way folks spread themselves out in situations like this.

Such an inviting place. The greyscale has the feel of an old photograph.

Excelente escena ciudadana llena de gente de la "edad dorada". Así dicen en España a los que ya están jubilados. Yo también me encuentro entre estos desde hace tres años. Asi que como dice el título, Tengo todo el tiempo del mundo...
