Pictures of London with a difference. I purposely avoided taking shots of the well known tourist sights.
''Delightfully compact with views over the Thames''
My book entitled, Looe in Cornwall a photographic tour, is on sale now.
A beautiful framing fo this small balcony where the color of the table is accompanied in the window.

I like very much this framing and am filled with admiration for people who have this quite small balcony on which they laid a small table and chairs to have their coffee in the sun

Very pretty, indeed. Such a beautiful little balcony that is. I'm definitely happier to see this than I'd have been to see a photo of the Big Ben, Buckingham Palace or the St. Paul's Cathedral.
@Chaitanya: Thank you, hope you enjoy the series.
Joli cadrage ! Je te souhaite une agréable journée

A roof terrace like that would add a few hundred thousand to the value - even if you had taken this shot from the top of a gasometer !

Cute and friendly. Some similarities with french balconies. Romantic.

@grouser: Thanks grouse, yes we had a nice break and had sunny weather too. For any AM3 friends planning a trip to London, I can recommend this hotel but get a suite on the riverside.
A very quaint find! (It reminds me of a similar location, but in Wien!)

Very nice colour contrasts, I can see myself living in someone's roof space.
14 Oct 2010 4:05pm
Well spotted and captured a slice of the real London rather than the touristy type shots which I was even guilty of getting last time I visited there, thats a real tiny balcony

No, I don't remember this being a well-known tourist site. ;-)
What a cute little oasis that you found for these residents outside their window.
